The Quality Control Laboratory of NIPCO, as one of the key infrastructures in ensuring product quality, utilizes advanced and specialized equipment to conduct testing and evaluation of the properties of composite parts produced by SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) and LFT (Long Fiber Thermoplastic) methods, in compliance with industrial standards—particularly SAPCO Grade A requirements.
Equipped with precise and comprehensive instruments, this laboratory provides a wide range of mechanical, thermal, environmental, and rheological tests, including:
Tensile and bending test
Thermal ageing test
Reaction to heat test
Charpy impact test
Falling ball impact test
Low-temperature test (down to –40°C freezer)
Melting point test
Heat deflection temperature (HDT) test
Melt flow index (MFI) test
Salt spray corrosion resistance test
Fiber content test using a dedicated furnace
High-precision digital scale for accurate material weight measurement
Laboratory press for preparing standard samples
